Nakonechna constructs a situation in which the rays emanating from a static light source are refracted on the mirrored edges of a plaster head of the kind used by artists to study the casting of light and shadow. The reflected light rays form an arbitrary composition of reflexes on the walls. The images of “positive heroes” of socialist realist paintings from the Dresden State Art Collections fall into their orbit, manifesting the function of light as a carrier of knowledge, but in the form of acquired reflexes and norms naturalized through an apparently realistic image.

Наконечна конструює ситуацію, де скеровані статичним джерелом світла, промені переломлюються на дзеркальних гранях гіпсової голови, що використовується художниками для тренування у світло-тіньовому зображенні голови людини. Відбиті промені світла утворюють на стінах довільну композицію рефлексів. У їхню орбіту потрапляють образи «позитивних героїв» соцреалістичних картин з Державних художніх зібрань Дрездена, проявляючи функцію світла, що несе знання, але у формі набутих рефлексів і норм, натуралізованих через позірно реалістичне зображення.
